Kenya's largest mixed-use development has received another major vote of confidence after Saudi Arabia's Mabani Aljazeera Holding Group announced its investment in Jabali Towers, Tatu City's flagship mixed-use project. The investment, made through the group's subsidiary Swan Properties, is among the biggest Saudi foreign direct investments into Kenya's real estate sector in recent years.

The announcement comes just days after construction officially began on Jabali Towers, a landmark development that will bring together residential apartments, Grade A offices, retail outlets, restaurants and a hotel in the heart of Tatu City. Tower A is already more than 80% sold, highlighting strong demand from both local and international investors.

For years, Tatu City established itself by attracting developers who built successful residential communities such as Unity Homes, Kijani Ridge, and Lifestyle Heights, helping transform the 5,000-acre master-planned city into one of Kenya's fastest-growing urban centres. Today, the development is home to thousands of residents, more than 100 businesses and several schools, making it the country's benchmark for integrated live-work-play communities.

Jabali Towers signals a new phase in Tatu City's evolution. Rather than simply providing serviced land for third-party developers, the city is now taking a more direct role in delivering its own landmark developments alongside strategic international partners.

The move further strengthens Tatu City's position as Kenya's leading mixed-use development. While projects such as Tilisi and Northlands City are also shaping the future of master-planned communities, Tatu City remains the most mature, with a thriving residential population, established commercial ecosystem and billions of shillings already invested in infrastructure and development.

Backed by international capital and with construction now underway, Jabali Towers is expected to become one of the defining developments within Tatu Central, reinforcing Kenya's appeal as a destination for global real estate investment and setting a new benchmark for mixed-use urban living.
